I always found Aunt Bo's stories fascinating. Rather than take the school bus home I would go to visit her and then catch a ride with my mother out to the Mission.

The Dec. 28, 2012 story in The Daily Courier about the ring of fire mineralized area, which is said to contain chromium, reminded me of another prospective chromium mine closer to home. This was the Anarchist Chrome Company, on Anarchist Mountain east of Osoyoos.
