Dear Readers: Sometimes I receive letters from the public which can be interpreted as negative feedback to something I wrote for the column. In my opinion, the only bad feedback is no feedback. Therefore, I must state for the record all feedback is welcome.
Recently, Kelowna's Central School celebrated its 100th birthday. This was cause for great celebration, as former students and teachers, and interested members of the public gathered to mark this special occasion.
While paying for my coffee at one of my usual haunts last week, the server said, "This is your lucky day," and handed me an extended cash register slip. I had been selected to complete a customer survey, and once I completed the task, I would be rewarded with a free drink. Wow!
