Seven restaurants on the Westside are part of over 50 restaurants participating in the 2020 Dine Around Thompson Okanagan, co-ordinated by the B.C. Restaurant and Foodservices Association.
The annual event attracts customers to restaurants during a traditionally slow time of year and presents budget-conscious diners with an opportunity to enjoy three-course, fixed-price menus at restaurants they haven’t tried before or at a familiar favourite.
Il Mercato Social Kitchen, 19 Okanagan Grill + Bar, Blu Saffron Bistro at Volcanic Hills Winery,
Lost Horn Mediterranean Grill, Old Vines Restaurant at Quails’ Gate,
the Red Fox Club at Indigenous World Winery and Sammy J’s Grill and Bar as well as the Gasthaus on the Lake in Peachland are all participating.
Over at Blu Saffron Bistro, diners can enjoy a three-course menu for $35. Entrée choices include beef short ribs, arctic char or chicken supreme.
Take in a three-course lunch for $35 at Old Vines at Quails’ Gate with mushrooms and celeriac risottoas as an option.
There are three price points at
19 Okanagan. Diners can opt for a $25, $35 or $45 three-course meal. The choice of starters and desserts remain the same for all meals and diners can chose entrée options such as a green curry rice bowl for a $25 meal, lobster mac and cheese for a $35 meal or filet of beef tenderloin for $45 meal.
Prices do not include taxes, gratuity or optional wine pairings.
