Due to COVID-19, there will be no in-person events this year. All virtual events in support of the Walk to End ALS will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2020—the day before Global ALS Awareness Day. You can show your support by joining your virtual community at www.walktoendals.ca/british-columbia and collecting online donations with your personal fundraising page.

On the day of the Virtual Walk, choose a time that works for you, and take a walk in your neighborhood. Share a photo or video from your Walk, and post it on your fundraising page or share it on social media. Feel free to get creative with activities aside from walking—we’d love to see your ideas!

The Virtual Walks will still give us an opportunity to celebrate hope for a future without ALS.   Show support for the 3,000 Canadians and their families living with the disease.  As well as honor those we have loved and lost.

This is the largest fundraiser held to support patient service programs provided by the ALS Society of BC, and the Canadian ALS Research Program.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge raised over $20,000,000 for the Canadian ALS Research Program which resulted in upwards of 60 new clinical trials becoming available in the near future.

Now more than ever we need your help.
