Lucie Laliberte of West Kelowna has won Ballet Kelowna’s “Ultimate Date Night Raffle.
The raffle, drawn July 2, featured prizes from sponsors and community partners valued at $2,300.
Laliberte’s winnings include a wardrobe makeover from Fossello’s Quality Clothing, a multi-course wine paired dinner from Quails’ Gate Estate Winery, jewelry from Silent Noise, and an arts and culture package with tickets to Ballet Kelowna, the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra and Kelowna Actors Studio, and a membership to the Kelowna Art Gallery.
“I’m so excited to have won, but really I am more excited to have been a part of helping Ballet Kelowna,” said Laliberte in a news release, upon receiving her prize package from Simone Orlando, Ballet Kelowna’s Artistic Director and CEO.
In addition to the raffle’, Ballet Kelowna wrapped up its annual Giving Campaign on June 30.
“Through the raffle and contributions from our donors, we raised over $88,500,” said Orlando. “Our fundraising activities have been a great success, laying the foundation for the incredible programming we have lined up for the 2019-20 season.”
Ballet Kelowna’s 2019-20 season will include the company’s first commissioned full-length ballet. Details will be announced Aug. 1.
