Daysormay headline West Kelowna's Music in the Park on Friday

An alternative rock trio from Vernon known for their energetic stage shows will top the bill at this week's Music in the Park concert at Westbank's Memorial Park.

Daysormay, featuring Carson Bassett on drums and percussions, Nolan Bassett on bass, vocals, and keys, and Aidan Andrews on lead vocals, guitar, keys, and ukulele, write all their own head-bopping music and are touring B.C. and the United States this summer.

They'll be supported by Kelowna art rocker Andrew Judah, whose brand of music mixes indie rock and pop with complex musical arrangements. Judah has composed music for many TV shows and ads.

Emerging artist Kailyn King kicks off the show at 6:40 p.m. Judah performs at 7 p.m. and daysormay at 8 p.m.

The concert takes place in the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre. Bring your own lawn chairs. Food trucks will be on site.
