An evening of music and dance will cap off a three-day arts conference coming to Kelowna next week.

The Arts BC conference will take place Oct. 17-19 at various locations in Kelowna’s Cultural District and at the Westbank First Nation.

Arts BC's 40th Anniversary party at the Rotary Centre for the Arts will take place Friday night.

Speakers include: Carla and Shawn Stephenson from Tiny Lights Festival; Carol Palladino and Patricia Huntsman from Arts BC; Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran; Darin Corbiere and Diane Levesque from Northern Indigenous Arts Council; Krystal Lezard from the WFN's Sncewips Heritage Museum; Simon Hunt from Shambhala Music Festival, and Tracey Kutschker from Salmon Arm Arts Centre.
