Just as spring starts to warm up the Great White North, two bands from warmer lands are arriving to plunge the country back into the cold and dreary atmosphere that Canadians are accustomed to with their brands of melodic and melancholic doom metal.

Helevorn from Spain (in photo) and Majestic Downfall from Mexico are touring the country and will stop in Kelowna on May 11 to play at Munnin's Post on Bernard Avenue.

Helevorn released the album Aamamata in January and Majestic Downfall released Waters of Fate in December.
