Big White Ski Resort will open for the season on Thursday. Scheduled to open will be the Ridge Rocket High-Speed Quad Chair, The Plaza Quad Chair and Lara’s Gondola (8 passenger) commencing at 8:45 a.m. Thursday. Ticket prices will be reduced by 50 per cent. Runs expected to open will be Easy Out, Highway 33, Easy Street, Hummingbird, and Lower Perfections. If all goes to plan, Big White will open runs off of the Black Forest and Bullet chairlifts Saturday. At that time tickets will go to full price.
