Ryan Olsen, with his 21st goal of the season early in the first period, plus Colton Sissons, Rourke Chartier and Tyler Goulbourne in the second also scored for Kelowna (32-10-2-1), which has won 24 of 29 games since Nov. 1. Todd Fiddler, with an unassisted goal midway through the third to break Kelowna’s shutout bid, and Alessio Bertaggia, with an unassisted shorthanded marker and a power-play goal within a minute of each other, replied for Spokane (28-15-1-0). The Chiefs, who are 1-1 against Kelowna this season, host the Rockets on Friday night.
Eric Williams stopped 15 of 19 shots for the Chiefs, with Garrett Hughson taking over after Kelowna made it 4-0. Hughson was perfect in relief, stopping all 13 shots he faced. Jordon Cooke stopped 17 shots for the Rockets.
