A Kelowna man could face a number of charges after police seized a firearm during a search of a home this week in Kelowna.
On Thursday, Kelowna RCMP, with assistance from the Southeast District Emergency Response Team, searched a home in the 200 block of Dougall Road North.
Four women and two men were taken into custody without incident inside the home.
During the search, police seized a loaded Tokarev 7.62-calibre handgun, a replica Beretta handgun, equipment capable of cloning credit cards and various small quantities of methadone, marijuana, methamphetamine, oxycodone, apo-temazepam, steroids, percocet and clonazepam.
The four women and a 19-year-old Penticton man were released without charges while a 25-year-old Kelowna man was held for a court appearance.
