The Black Box competition during the day Feb. 8 at Okanagan College sees the chefs presented with a black box of ingredients that they have to whip up into two spectacular dishes to impress judges.
The finale the night of Feb. 8, back at the Delta Grand, sees stations set up so people can taste the chef's signature dishes with wine and then sit down in the ballroom for dessert and more wine, the announcement of the winner and music from Robertson and Bentall.
Olympic gold medallist in ski cross Ashleigh McIvor is the master of ceremonies.
Proceeds from the championships benefit the Canadian Olympic Foundation.
