A free tele-workshop is being offered to help families living with dementia.
On Feb. 28, Planning Ahead will help families start to plan for the future as early as possible to ensure that the person with dementia can play a role in making important health-care and financial decisions.
Guest speaker Emily Clough will review the different kinds of planning that need to be considered and look at strategies for ensuring the person's wishes are honoured now and in the future.
The session begins at 7 p.m. Tele-workshop participants can take part in the comfort of their own homes, accessing the workshop via telephone, with optional online slides.
A few minutes before the session, participants are asked to call toll-free 1-866-994-7745, then enter the pass code of 1122333.
