A driver who flipped his truck Sunday afternoon took off on foot.
The crash happened outside of Home Hardware on Byland Road at about 2:30 p.m. on the Westside.
The man driving the white truck ran into a nearby forested area, and was followed by witnesses who told police.
Officers confronted him when he emerged from the woods.
West Kelowna RCMP are now considering charges against a 36-year-old Kelowna man for impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
