Letters to the Editor

Vote Liberal, vote for higher education

Last week, I attended the Kelowna-Mission all-candidates forum hosted by the Okanagan College Student Union.

Why I won't vote NDP

It's taken some time for me to write this letter.

NDP win would mean the end of B.C.

Nations and empires rise and fall. Canada and the provinces was a good idea; unfortunately, eastern greed and stupidity got in the way.

Pushing buttons on the campaign trail

Bond ignoring work of MLAs

Does Dix work for Rockefeller?

Thanks to the invaluable work of Vivian Kraus, we know that a number of U.S. foundations, including the Hewlett Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Pew Foundation, the Packard Foundation and the Tides Foundation, have funnelled more than $300 million since 2000 into B.C. primarily to block Canada's ability to export oilsands crude to markets outside North America and to prevent development generally. That's more than all our provincial parties have spent on campaigns during the same period. Donations from these sources also played a pivotal part in propelling Gregor Robertson into the Vancouver mayor's seat.

Real change comes by voting Green

T. Williams asked in a letter to the editor: "What choice do we have?"

Look who's lying now

I find it quite ironic and a joke for the Liberals to be constantly making disparaging remarks/ads about Adrian Dix after all the lies they've told to the public.

Elections signs an important part of democracy

All election candidates have the right to post elections signs up in accordance with Kelowna Election Bylaw No. 10411.

Don't take B.C. to the past

Do we need a change? Think about it.
