Bond ignoring work of MLAs

Does Dix work for Rockefeller?

Thanks to the invaluable work of Vivian Kraus, we know that a number of U.S. foundations, including the Hewlett Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Pew Foundation, the Packard Foundation and the Tides Foundation, have funnelled more than $300 million since 2000 into B.C. primarily to block Canada's ability to export oilsands crude to markets outside North America and to prevent development generally. That's more than all our provincial parties have spent on campaigns during the same period. Donations from these sources also played a pivotal part in propelling Gregor Robertson into the Vancouver mayor's seat.

Real change comes by voting Green

T. Williams asked in a letter to the editor: "What choice do we have?"

Look who's lying now

I find it quite ironic and a joke for the Liberals to be constantly making disparaging remarks/ads about Adrian Dix after all the lies they've told to the public.

Elections signs an important part of democracy

All election candidates have the right to post elections signs up in accordance with Kelowna Election Bylaw No. 10411.

Don't take B.C. to the past

Do we need a change? Think about it.

We need the Liberals to protect the economy

Most British Columbians are aware May 14 is the 40th general election for B.C. Some voters make their decisions based on emotions or in the few seconds in the voting booth. I would encourage voters to take time to educate themselves on the various political platforms.

Canada's not a melting pot

Dayleen Van Ryswyk still doesn't get it. Neither do columnists Chuck Poulsen nor Ron Seymour and apparently 60 per cent of our local population.

Salmon film reveals ugly truth

I attended the recent showing of the film Salmon Confidential and was able to learn first-hand from filmmaker Twyla Roscovitch about the peril currently facing our wild salmon.
