In response to David Bond's Nov. 13 column "How to choose the right charity," I would like to recommend giving the United Way.
The United Way does all the due diligence he recommends, and they have professionals to do it.
This allows us to give generously when you may not have the time or the skills to do so yourself.
The United Way does all the vetting and checking to make sure the organizations they provide funding for have proper governance and are fulfilling an important role in your community.
