I would like to add my concerns to those of Val Bardot in her hearfelt letter to the editor of Feb. 6 about the closing of Ballet Kelowna.
She asks the question: what has the city of Kelowna done in not supporting this special company?
I add that not only is this Kelowna's loss, but also a loss to all the other communities in the Interior where Ballet Kelowna has performed and to whom they have brought this beautiful art form.
David LaHay and his group of accomplished dancers have added an element of excellence and wonder to the cultural fabric of our city and elsewhere.
What a loss, indeed.
