The Northern Gateway pipeline must go through.
Enbridge may not be the company to build it, but the pipeline is good for Canada.
There will be strong voices backed by non-Canadians against this pipeline.
The First Nations want a cut and probably should get something.
Should we have a plan for possible large oil spill? Of course we should.
This is a good move for Canada. There are risk in most projects.
I'm not an expert or anywhere close, but would prefer an upgrader be built in the Fort McMurray area and refined oil be transported to the Coast and to Eastern Canada.
The pipeline to Texas, I would not support.
We should be more concerned about fracking than this Northern Gateway pipeline.
I would also like to see a new technology nuclear plant to supply power to the oilsands and a pipeline from the Arctic bringing in salt water to separate the bitumen from the sand.
