This Nexen takeover and the new free trade agreement CNOOC is insane. We've all seen what NAFTA has done. Canada making a trade agreement with China is like my little company making a deal with McDonalds or Target, who do you think will come out ahead?
With this CNOOC deal who will want to control our resources and the money flow? Who do you think will protect our environment and our jobs? I think Harper's own caucus should all resign and we should have a vote of no-confidence to get rid of this man who is selling out our country, no doubt for kick-backs when he retires!
Small business in Canada and the general public of Canada are the only ones who have our countries best interests in mind. Large corporations rape everything they can get their hands on, especially when they are from another country and don't have to answer Canadians. Yes these are words of anger and I hope they don't fall on deaf ears!
