If the people of the Okanagan wish to help keep the lake clean, then it's simple - make all the water supply systems draw their water from the lake.
Use the mountain lakes for run-off storage and let them drain into Okanagan Lake as needed during the summer. If we all drink from the same tap, then people will think twice about peeing in their own drinking water.
