The Attawapiskat band chief is seeking an injunction to block a government-appointed manager from "taking over" the community finances.
If the injunction is granted, I would think it would leave Ottawapissedat the ruling.
However, if the appointment goes through, I can only see two outcomes, both of them good for the community.
Either the federal money was well spent, which means more is obviously needed to improve conditions, or the money was poorly spent, which means that outside help is needed.
Other problems have recently surfaced, but the chief problem seems to be finances. So, as a nation, let's tackle that one first.
