Genetically modified food is all about profits and control.
I love Okanagan apples and buy them all the time, but I will not buy Arctic apples.
We just came back from vacation in California, where we visited Apple Mountain. More than 50 apple farms sell all sorts of apple products and apples to hundreds of people.
It was like a wine tour for families - fun, food, drinks, all with an apple theme.
We are missing out.
It was like 50 Davison Orchards and was fun and educational. We can't wait to go back.
There was something for everyone. Apple wine, apple cider, apple juice, apple baked goods, even fishing for the kids. No shortage of apple product sales.
Many people were buying pies and juice, etc. for the freezer.
We could be the apple capital of Canada - but please no GMOs.
