I commented to my wife the other night that the tomatoes I was eating tasted fishy. She pointed out this was not the first time I had made such a comment.
I note on the Internet that I am not alone. While saluting this remarkable scientific achievement, I would like to go on record as preferring my tomatoes to taste, well, like tomatoes.
After reading about some of the GMO experiments, I will no doubt now have nightmares of waking up with my bottom (sorry, lower half) looking like a mermaid. Come to think about it, that pinkish fish I pulled out of Chute Lake last year was rather Roma shaped.
