Kudos to the City of Kelowna and directors of the Water Street Seniors Centre for all the work they undertook with the planning, organizing, building and now, the accomplishment of the move into the new activity centre at Parkinson Recreation Centre.
It cannot have been an easy task to try to accommodate the many people who used the Water Street Centre.
The Pleasure Painters group held our first session in the new building, and we were very pleased with our spacious, beautiful accommodations and the new tables and chairs. We will appreciate the light from the many windows and the quiet, as we are no longer beside the busy gym.
We thank you for all your time, patience and hard work in completing this huge endeavour.
Vivian Hamanishi,
Kelowna
