Thieves steal Christmas

Print PDF
I am a hard-working single father who loves my daughters more than anything in this world. I've been saving as much as I could spare over the last two months so I could get them something they would love.
I dropped the presents off on Wednesday night at their house. They live with their mom and no one was home, so I left them by their door in a fenced-off deck.
I called my daughter to see if she had received the presents. She said "no dad I haven't seen anything."
Someone had stolen a six-year-old's presents from their
apartment.
I can't afford to buy her or her sister presents now as I am struggling to get by.
Is there any way to ask if anyone took them, that they could please, please return them.
I feel sick to my stomach to think that I can't show my girls how much I love them.
Christmas is supposed to be a cheerful, loving, Christian time.
I just want the guilty party to leave them back on the deck. I don't know what else to do.
Thank you so much.
