Congratulations to all those writers whose letters on addiction and pot appeared in Monday's paper. They give non-pot users a glimpse into another world.
However I do have a question about the use of medicinal pot. Must the Pot be smoked to be of value?
I suggest medical research should be done on making a "pot patch."
A patch of medicinal pot could be applied, much like the nicotine patch is, and worn all day to relieve the symptoms of the disease.
This way the person needing the medicinal value of pot would not be destroying their lungs and irritating others around them.
I hope a medical person reads this letter and can fill me in on why a patch is not available.
