Peter Schultz

Peter Schultz is the new district governor for Rotary.

A Kelowna man is the new top Rotarian in the district.

Dr. Peter Schultz was installed Friday as the governor for District 5060, which takes in more than 60 clubs in B.C. and Washington state.

Schultz joined the Kelowna Ogopogo Rotary Club in 1997, and after a leave for a few years rejoined the Rotary Club of Kelowna in 2009.

He has served on both club boards, was president in 2012-13, and has overseen or participated in dozens of community (and a few international) projects.

District roles have included administrative assistant governor, chair of the Rotary Leadership Institute, editor of the District Directory, content webmaster for the district website, and chair for the 2017 district conference in Kelowna.
