Let me start the week by offering huge congratulations to our amazing Kelowna community theatre groups for the way they so successfully represented our city at the recent Ozone Theatre Festival in Armstrong last week.

For the past 52 years, Rutland May Days has always centred on a deep sense of community, and this year is no exception.

Playing is something kids do well. So is pretending. Perhaps that has something to do with the success of Bumbershoot Children's Theatre at the recent Ozone festival, or, perhaps it has something to do with their artistic director Tracy Ross.
