Members of GenNext Kelowna are as committed to helping their community as anyone. Since forming in 2009, they've helped out many needy individuals and groups in Kelowna and surrounding area, but they've also had some fun along the way.

Just Imagine, which opens Jan. 12 at the Kelowna Art Gallery, brings together the work of four blind and vision-impaired artists in a show that is sure to engage Kelowna audiences.
It's become a tradition to use my last column in December to reflect on some of the major arts events that happened over the year. Inevitably, this results in my Inbox lighting up with comments of the things I missed, but that's OK. Imagine how boring the world would be if we all like the same thing.

When Josh Beamish decided to move to Vancouver to start his own dance company at the age of 17, little did he know then just how appropriate the name 'Move: the company' would be.
Huge kudos to the cast and crew of Miracle on 34th Street. Apparently they made history with that show, outselling everything else ever produced by Kelowna Actors Studio. More than 4,200 people came through the doors to get infused with Christmas spirit, watch snow fall from the sky and learn that the spirit of Santa is alive and well.
