This year, the concert takes place on Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. at First United Church in Kelowna (corner of Richter and Bernard).
Admission is by donation at the door.
Two other six-year-long traditions: Ralph Milton, a well-known United Church speaker and writer is MC, and the concert is followed by hot apple cider and shortbread.
This year's featured guest artists are soprano Jessica Sage and pianist Graham Vink.
Sage is highly regarded for her expressive interpretation of baroque and classical repertoire, and is also a specialist in contemporary music.
Highlights from her award-winning performance during the 2002 Eckhardt-Grammatté national competition were featured on CBC Radio Two's In Performance.
Vink holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in piano performance from the University of Calgary and the University of Toronto.
As well as the choir accompanist at First United, Vink is a busy pianist, accompanist and piano teacher in Kelowna.
The Merrie Pipers Recorder Orchestra formed in 2001 as a small music class within Kelowna's Society for Learning in Retirement.
Although all retirees, these players continue their musical growth. Nine members of the group attended a six-day early music workshop, involving 100 recorder students of all ages, at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma last July.
Sue MacDonald directs the Merrie Pipers.
The art of handbell ringing is becoming increasingly popular in the Okanagan. The Alleluia Ringers bell choir, an active part of the music program at First United Church since 2006, are members of the B.C. Guild of English Handbell Ringers. They have attended several regional and provincial handbell festivals as well the Canadian national festival in Calgary in 2011. They play on five octaves of Schulmerich handbells and three octaves of Malmark handchimes.

Those attending the concert are advised to arrive in time to find street parking, as parking in the church's lot will be limited.
