Sting fans in Kelowna will get a chance to see him perform before he opens his tour May 30 at Prospera Place.
Sting, along with Rihanna and Bruno Mars, will hit the stage for a special performance at Sunday's Grammy Awards, it was announced this week.
They will perform together at the awards.
Triple nominee Kelly Clarkson will also take the stage.
Following Sting's critical and popular success of his 2011-12 world tour he announced last month that his Back to Bass tour will continue this year, with the tour opening in Kelowna before he sets off on his other dates.
Sting will perform many of his greatest hits, stripped down, with a five-piece band.
