The Kelowna Art Gallery is accepting registrations for its winter 2013 art classes and workshops for youth and adults.
Classes start in January and run through early March.
Registration is now underway.
Reasonably priced art classes will be offered in painting and drawing, with most classes running for five weeks.
Classes cater to beginners as well as those at the intermediate skill level.
Beginner classes teach students the basic principles of their preferred medium, while also giving them the opportunity to discuss, explore, and express themselves through visual art.
More advanced students will build on their existing skills through creative exercises to enhance their abilities.
A full listing and descriptions of available classes is available on the gallery's website at kelownaartgallery.com.
Gift certificates for art classes are also available and those registering before Jan. 11 will receive a 10 per cent discount.
