Paul Rodgers |
Rodgers first shot up the radio charts and unto the music scene with his rock anthem All Right Now with Free. The song hit No. 1 in many countries, and at the time, Free and Led Zeppelin were the biggest grossing British acts. Free combined blues, ballads and rock, much like Zeppelin did, and explained why Rodgers teamed with Zeppelin lead guitarist Jimmy Page in later days to form The Firm.
After Free came the success of Bad Company. Rodgers wrote and sang many Bad Company hits, such as the Grammy-nominated Felt Like Making Love and Can't Get Enough. Bad Company earned six multi-platinum albums.
Dubbed, "The Voice" by many fans, Rodgers also has a successful solo career and toured with Queen in 2005-06, an act billed as Queen and Paul Rodgers, with sets that included songs from not only Queen, but Rodgers' Bad Company and Free as well.
Including group projects and solo efforts, Rodgers has sold more than 125 million albums.
