Burger sales help fight cystic fibrosis

Print PDF
A&W restaurants in the Southern Interior raised thousands of dollars for the fight against cystic fibrosis during the fifth annual Breath of Life Day on Saturday.
The restaurants donated $1 for every burger sold and 100 per cent of donations received to Cystic Fibrosis Canada. The fundraiser included free root-beer refills.
Last year, A&W restaurants in Kelowna, Westbank, Winfield, Vernon, Armstrong, Salmon Arm, Kamloops and Ladysmith collected $42,000. This year's total was unavailable at press time.
