For the second year in a row, Interior Health has been named among B.C.'s top employers.
"As I tour facilities throughout the region, I am impressed by the professional and collaborative attitudes of employees I meet," said Minister of Health Terry Lake. "It is clear that the health authority's efforts to build an engaged workforce, along with the satisfaction gained from helping people, make Interior Health a great place to work."
The competition considers various criteria, such as recruitment and retention, high employment standards, physical workplace, work and social atmosphere, benefits, time off, employee communications, performance management, training and skills development, and community involvement.
Interior Health employs more than 18,000 people.
