Four Kelowna area organizations are receiving community gaming grants worth $210,000.
The Central Okanagan Child Development Association received $140,000; Rotary Club of Lake Country Society, $30,000; Act/Uct Kelowna West Council No. 1003, $25,000; and Lifestyle Equity Society, $15,000.
"These groups make important contributions to our community. I believe the Central Okanagan is a better place to live thanks to their passion and dedication," said Kelowna-Mission MLA Steve Thomson.
 Across British Columbia, 133 recipients will share $6,590,160 in the latest round of grants.
In the 2011-12 fiscal year, 5,300 community groups received $135 million in gaming grants.
