A snowboarder coasts through snow-covered trees at Big White Ski Resort near Kelowna on Wednesday after the resort received 15 centimetres of new snow in 12 hours. That was on top of 56 centimetres that had fallen the previous seven days. No more snow fell Friday, and Big White was reporting a base of 183 centimetres in the village. Ski conditions at the resort should be great this weekend, as a mix of sun and cloud is forecast for today and Sunday, along with highs around -12 C today and -9 C Sunday.
