UBC Okanagan's Kula Club and Get Involved want to raise more awareness about albinism.
Albinism is a rare genetic condition that results in a lack of pigmentation in the hair, skin and eyes, causing vulnerability to sun exposure and bright light.
Under the Same Sun founder Peter Ash will kick off a week of awareness raising about albinism. Ash will speak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday in room 204 of the Charles E. Fipke Centre,
3247 University Way.
