The City of Kelowna has won three awards.
The Heritage Canada Foundation and the Urban Development Institute have praised the city for the heritage-minded renovation of the Laurel building.
And the Transportation Association of Canada has given the city an award for developing bike and foot paths, such as the ones on Abbott Street, Cawston Avenue, Lakeshore Road and Houghton Road.
Presentation of the awards was made at Monday's council meeting.
