BASKETBALL: Mustang on the move

The Mustangs earned a berth in today's championship game by defeating the Eagles 78-16. Immaculata will meet the Westwood Warriors of Winnipeg, who edged the Princeton Rebels 67-66 in the other semi. Game time of the final is 4 p.m. at Immaculata. Meanwhile, a longtime Central Okanagan rivalry will resume beginning at 5:45 p.m. when the host Immaculata Mustangs, ranked No. 1 in the 1A division in B.C., take on the Kelowna Christian School Knights in the boys championship match. Immaculata downed the A.R. MacNeil Ravens of Richmond 61-46 in semifinal play on Friday, while the Knights, ranked seventh in the 2A division, disposed of the West Point Grey Wolves 83-68.
