Police are finding more evidence against two men and a woman suspected of stealing cars from a local dealership and of being involved in at least eight other commercial break-ins.

Police arrested the trio — a 25-year-old woman and 25- and 33-year-old men — on Jan. 4 at a luxury hotel in Kelowna.

They seized items connected to at least eight break-ins and later recovered two cars, valued at about $60,000.

On Friday, two of the three were again arrested as a new police raid uncovered more stolen property, further evidence of identity theft and material linking the group to crimes throughout the Okanagan, RCMP said in a news release.

One of the men and the woman now remain in police custody awaiting court disposition on additional charges and an extradition back to Alberta, the release said.
