A 73-year-old Kelowna man has been charged after colliding with a motorcycle on Highway 97.
On Friday at 1:22 p.m., Lake Country RCMP responded to a report of a collision on Highway 97 south of Beaver Lake Road.
A northbound Ford Edge was turning left into the driveway of Voyager RV when a southbound motorcycle collided with the rear passenger side of the Edge, said Const. Jesse O'Donaghey in a press release.
The motorcyclist, a 48-year-old Lumby man sustained serious non-life-threatening injuries mainly to his lower body.
He was transported to hospital in stable condition.
The driver and sole occupant of the Ford Edge, a 73-year-old Kelowna man, was not injured in the crash.
He was charged under the Motor Vehicle Act for failing to yield on a left turn.
