The City of Kelowna is asking people nicely to clean up litter on roads and sidewalks around their properties that may have become visible now that the snow has melted.

If nice doesn't work, the city points out in a news release issued Friday, it also has the anti-littering bylaw (No. 3477) which which prohibits collection or accumulation of “unwholesome matter or substances” around private premises or depositing of rubbish in any open place.
