Update: The event has been cancelled.
Okanagan Clinical Trials will host a community swabbing event next week to find out if people aged 60 to 75 have the right genetic makeup to take part in a clinic trial on Alzheimer’s disease.
A research project will be conducted to see if Alzheimer’s can be prevented or delayed. People 60-75 are wanted for the study. Participants must not have been diagnosed with memory impairment.
The swabbing will happen 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday at 204-1353 Ellis St.
