TORONTO - Provincial police say one man has died and another has been arrested after an alleged drunk-driving crash on a Toronto highway on Saturday afternoon.

Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says the crash happened on Highway 401 near Keele Street at about 4:30 p.m.

He says a 39-year-old man from Woodbridge, Ont., died at the scene after another vehicle collided with his.

Schmidt says a 55-year-old Toronto man has been charged with impaired driving causing death.

He didn't say whether the accused was injured in the collision.
