A precautionary boil-water notice has been issued for the Ross Road and Brentwood Road areas of West Kelowna and some residents have had their water turned off.
Construction of a sidewalk along Ross Road, between Brentwood and Riffington Place, has created what the city calls a "watermain tie-in complication" and led to some discolouration of the water.
The city and contractor are working to fix the problem.
West Kelowna residents can fill up on clean water at the bulk water station at Shannon and Asquith toads on the Asquith side. Bring your own containers and hoses.
