Dear Editor:

On Friday July, 12, I was shopping at the Your Independant Grocer store at the Capri Centre.

I was at the checkout, behind a kind gentleman who was paying for his barbecue chicken. I happened to comment that I too was going to buy one. So I proceeded to go back and get one. Upon my return, to the same cashier, much to my surprise, my chicken was paid for.

Unfortunately, he was gone before I could thank him. His act of kindness touched my heart.

We need many more Good Samaritans. Pass it on, folks. I’ve had so many similar experiences.
