It wasn’t how they wanted to enter the playoffs, but Okanagan FC will accept their post-season invitation nonetheless.
The Kelowna-based club lost 1-0 to Surrey United and 4-2 to Vancouver Tigers at the Apple Bowl on the weekend to end the regular season.
By virtue of results around the league, OFC still advanced into this weekend’s playoffs at Victoria.
Fourth-place OFC (6-1-7) will face the Victoria Highlanders in one semifinal. Tigers and Surrey square off in the other semifinal; both games are at University of Victoria.
OFC finished a point clear of the Penticton Pinnacles and Kamloops Wolfpack for the final playoff spot.
