Ryan Huska and Dan Lambert were ready to take on new roles — new challenges.

For Huska, that meant leaving the Kelowna Rockets after seven seasons as the WHL club’s head coach and 12 years on the staff. For Lambert, it was a matter of becoming a head coach after serving as Huska’s assistant for the past five seasons since retiring as a professional player in Europe.
